Stream: Jenny Lewis - 'Acid Tongue'

Jenny Lewis
Unfortunately, this is a stream of the title track, not the entire album, but it shall do as a nice little tease until the album comes along.

God I can't wait for the album. It'll be great. Hopefully as great as Rabbit Furcoat. Cause that's one phenomenal album.

Watch: Radiohead cover 'Tell Me Why'

All of you regular readers will remember my Neil Young review. Oh God, it was a great gig. I've seen many of the legends now at this stage: Dylan, Young, Springsteen, The Hold Steady, etc. But I've yet to see Radiohead live.

What would be even better than seeing them live? Seeing them cover a Neil Young classic live! Thom Yorke and co. covered 'Tell Me Why' from seminal classic After The Goldrush on Monday, and it went down a treat at the Hollywood Bowl.

Watch it in full, here:

Live: Glen Campbell at Vicar Street

Glen Campbell
Thanks to Lauren for the following news... Country legend Glen Campbell is set to play Vicar Street on October 28th in support of his new album Meet Glen Campbell.

Tickets cost €65.70, which caused me to exclaim "Jesus, that's expensive." I'd recommend that none of you follow my lead by making loud statements like that in the middle of an internet cafe!

Live: Cardinals Ambassador Poster

Thanks to IndieLimerick for uploading the poster for the upcoming Ambassador gig. Also thanks to him and Neil from Thundercrack Playlist (as well as Pat's comment) for the presale password for the Ryan Adams and the Cardinals Dublin gig: "Lights".

Bizarre: Cardinals Mailbox

Cardinals possible album cover

http://www.cardinology.com/

Check it out. I don't know what it's about, but I signed up.

For fans of Ryan Adams. You'll be informed when you receive any mail. And I'll inform everyone here what the whole thing is about. Probably new album related.

Oh and that picture up there could be the Cardinals III/IV album cover. Maybe.

Download: The Peth - Let's Go Fucking Mental

You may have read about this band in the Gossip section of The Daily Star, following the break up of Rhys and Sienna's relationship, or maybe even in Heat magazine (when they're not talking about Jen and Dale).

What you won't have received from those sources, however, is a download of Rhys Ifans' band The Peth's debut single, 'Let's Go Fucking Mental'. Would you have expected a more toned-down title? Really?

The single is taken from their debut album, The Golden Mile, which is released next week.

Download: Dido - 'Look No Further'

Two tidbits (that's also spelled 'titbits' you know!) of information.

1. Dido's new album (the Jon Brion-produced one) will be called Safe Trip Home.

2. You can download a free mp3 from the record, 'Look No Further' here:

Watch: Ryan Adams Cardinals - 'CobWebs'

Ryan Adams and the Cardinals played five new tunes last night at The Fillmore in San Francisco. These may well appear on new record Cardinals III/IV, and could also come out at the Ambassador in a few months time (tickets on sale this Friday).

The five songs are tentatively titled 'Go Easy', 'I Fix It', 'CobWebs', 'Windowpane', and 'Evergreen'.

Watch 'Cobwebs' live:

EDIT: Thanks to an anonymous poster for the note that 'Catch Me' is actually the same tune as 'Cobwebs'

Live: Tracy Chapman at the Olympia

Chapman Stick
Talking about a revolution? Well, either you're a member of the Socialist Workers Party or else you've heard the news that Tracy Chapman is returning to Ireland to play Dublin's Olympia Theatre on December 8th.

Tickets cost €50.80 and €55.80 (quite expensive, but it might be worth treating yourself), and are on sale this Friday.
