Live: Tallest Man on Earth at Whelan's

Someone is not doing a good PR job. Because I only heard about this today. Bad form, bad form. I've a night out with my former uni mates planned, if I had've heard before now that Tallest Man on Earth was playing Whelan's upstairs tonight, then I probably would've postponed for this!

Tickets will be available at the door, and will be priced €13.50. Bargain. It'll be fantastic. A perfect Friday night.

Watch 'I Will Follow the Rain':

Watch: I Am Not Lefthanded - Everybody Sleeps

Some videos are throwaway. There's hardly much point in watching them. It seems like the band made them in ten minutes (like the new Dave Matthews Band video - awful).

But others are glorious. They actually add to the music. Some even work like little films. Some are 'Everybody Sleeps' by the ever-improving I am Not Lefthanded.

Single News: Ryan Adams - Pax.Am Digital Single No 1

Ryan Adams Pax.Am Digital Single #1

First ever "single news" post, but it's needed because the legend that is Ryan Adams will be releasing a new single tomorrow. 'Lost and Found' will be the A Side with 'Go Ahead and Ride' as the B Side. Ryan is no longer contracted to Lost Highway, so now he can do what he wants. Which may be a fantastic development. 'Lost and Found' was originally a Sad Dracula tune but has been reworked for this digital single release.

You can buy it tomorrow for $1.49 here:

Watch: Muse - The Resistance

Muse played a homecoming gig in "lovely" Teignmouth at the Den, where they played some new material from The Resistance which will be released next week. Here's the title track.

Watch Muse - 'The Resistance':

Live: Arctic Monkeys at the O2

Although their new album is fairly dire, the Arctic Monkeys still put on a great live show. They'll be playing the O2 in Dublin the same night as Bell x1 come to town at the Olympia, the 26th, with a show up north in the Odyssey on the previous night.

Tickets for the Dublin show start at €42.50 and the ones in Belfast are £32.50. Support for both shows comes from Josh Homme's Eagles of Death Metal, and tickets are on sale this Friday.

Watch 'Flourescent Adolescent':

Live: Bell x1 at the Olympia

(Don't tell anyone but this is the surprise present Gill will be getting for her birthday. Shhh.)

Bell x1 will be playing a special one-off concert at the Olympia on November 26th. Tickets are €29 each and go on sale this Thursday. They'll probably sell out damn quick, like the Vicar Street nights did earlier this year. Now there was an amazing show. One of the best gigs of the year so far.
