Live: CastlePalooza 2010 Lineup announced

The lineup for Offaly's Boutique Festival Castle Palooza was announced yesterday with some great acts set to appear. The biggest draw for the two day event is Mercury Rev, but among the local names highlights are Fionn Regan, Codes, James Vincent McMorrow, O Emperor, and the Cast of Cheers. However, the full lineup itself looks amazing.

The festival takes place the weekend of July 31st and August 1st. Tickets are on sale now at the price of €99, and it'll be attended by 3000 revellers this year rather than the usual 1000.

The excellent Fionn Regan releases a new album in 2010, The Shadow of an Empire will come out on February 5th on Universal Records. The album is preceded by the splendid single 'Protection Racket'. The album is a bit more rocky in places than his last record, but I'm not going to give any more away!
