Other Projects: Wii Sports Resort FAQ

As well as writing here, and at Culch.ie, I've also briefly returned to an old passion of mine. Writing guides for computer games. Back in my teen years, I used to do this a hell of a lot, and most of my free time was spent doing it. Explains the lack of ladies in my life back then. Well, it's an easy excuse!

I've written an FAQ for the Island Flyover section of Wii Sports Resort, and you can find it here, under my old pseudonym 'AlaskaFox':
http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/wii/game/950923.html

You can also check out the other guides I've written (over half a million words' worth):
http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/recognition/7818.html

I'm going to use this post as a contact point for the FAQ, so if you have a comment or question, please post it here!

Hey AlaskaFox, just a recommendation to add to your guide: In the Day and Evening there is a balloon at the top of the lighthouse. I know I'm not the only one who had a lot of trouble finding those!

quick clarification to the FAQ - The cabana is where you start the evening flight, not the night one.

Wow, what a useful guide! :D

TIP: Where it says you press 1 to change between the single and double seater planes, that's wrong. It's the - button. You don't have to credit me, but if you want to, call me mariorulesalot.

Also, I just figured out that with the two seater plane, if you ride upside-down, the second mii (the passenger, not you) with wave his/her hands above his/her head.

I found a mistake with Cabana Lagoon.

Cabana Lagoon
=============
At the north-west of the Main Island. This is where you start the game
during Night Flights. Just turn around immediately after starting to get it.

It should be...

do you have to get 80 info points for each time of day in wii resort island flyover?

If I come back to Island Flyover and want to look at my map of locations I already got, can you?

The Twisty Passage is underneath the Wobbly Bridge, west of the Shrieking Falls, beyond the Ancient Dolmen and the entrance is at the top of a shingle outfall

Not only can you land the plane in the tunnels with water, on the ocean, on Duckling Pond and in the rivers, you can also land the plane in the SWIMMING POOL at the hotel. Yep, it is difficult but the trick to it is cut the engines just at the right moment while coming in very low. Have fun and good luck!
