So, not only are Mercury Rev playing Kilkenny next month, they're following that by releasing not one, but two albums in September (the 29th to be exact!). The retail album Snowflake Midnight will be accompanied by another record, which will be given away free as a companion piece, called Strange Attractor. I've seen many strange tractors in my time, my Dad even more, so I'm looking forward to their accounts of the 1962 Fordson Supermajor... Oh wait, Strange Attractor! The other would be a Richie Kavanagh record probably.
Anyhow, 'Senses on Fire' is the first single from the proper album, Snowflake Midnight, and is available for download on A Reminder, here:

haha! i'm a huge fan of early mercury rev, but not so much of their last album. still hear traces of that here, but glad there's a bit more noise and distortion again.
