Album News: David Byrne & Brian Eno - Everything That Happens Will Happen Today
Everyone should own Brian Eno and David Byrne's seminal 1981 album My Life in the Bush of Ghosts. It's older than me, and is probably a damn sight better than me, at probably everything. Probably.
If you don't own that album, then you probably do have a copy of something by Eno or Byrne. The early U2 albums are the work of Eno, and if you're of a certain age, you may well own a Roxy Music record. Many of us have Talking Heads albums, but all of us have probably owned David Byrne's excellent single 'Like Humans Do', which was included with every copy of Windows XP.
Whatever you own, you should get their new album, Everything That Happens Will Happen Today, when it's released August 20th. In advance of that, single 'Strange Overtones' will be available on the album's official website from Monday.
