Stream: Tom Waits live in Atlanta

That's Atlanta, Georgia, not Atalanta, Italy. I always got them confused when I was a kid! And that's not even mentioning the lost city of Atlantis. Or the Atlantic Ocean. As you can guess, I was a huge fan of geography. A quiz genius I was. Now people (me included) rely on looking up whatever answers they don't know on their mobiles. Not really fair now is it? Is it, Tecwen Whittock?

Anyhow, to gear you up for Tom Waits' two shows at the Ratcellar in the Phoenix Park (not Phoenix, Arizona. Ah no, I won't do this joke again!) this week, you can stream Tom's show at the Fox Theater in Atlanta, from the 5th of July 2008. This will also satiate the appetites of those people who couldn't get tickets and aren't willing to pay over the top from some backstreet fiddler. And note, the second show is also the final show of his World Tour this year. Bound to be amazing.

The show is available for streaming on NPR's excellent website, here:

with a Setlist of:
"Lucinda / Ain't Going Down to the Well"
"Down in the Hole"
"Falling Down"
"Chocolate Jesus"
"All the World Is Green"
"Cemetery Polka"
"Cause of It All"
"Till the Money Runs Out"
"Such a Scream"
"Hold On"
"Black Market Baby"
"9th and Hennepin"
"Lie to Me"
