Anyhow, if you like yourself some fine African/World music, you really have to check out Senegal's Orchestra Baobob, who come to Vicar Street on October 18th. Tickets are on sale at €30 and are on sale tomorrow. Thanks to Jim Carroll for the announcement.
I first heard of these guys from a documentary about Dave Matthews and Trey Anastasio visiting Senegal. It's brilliant, if you can find a copy, check it out. But as a tease, here's a video of them performing 'Bul Ma Miin' with Dave and Trey:
