Fleet Foxes may well be this year's biggest hype band. No doubt you've already read loads about them, got the Sun Giant EP, downloaded Ragged Wood only to find out that it's not called that anymore. You might have even grown a beard in appreciation of their mountainy folk.
All things considered, they have released one of the best folk albums of the year - it's no Tallest Man on Earth Shallow Grave, but it's damn good. And 'Blue Ridge Mountain' should be on every mixtape you make this year. The only thing wrong with them is the fact that singer Robin Peckinold does not stand up at his shows! But since this is a mere audio stream, you'll never realise!
